Our programs are open to all adults aged 18 and up! Located in beautiful Rhododendron Park in Kenmore.

Monthly Calendar: 

Visit the Kenmore Senior Center during open hours and pick up a little Pocket Hug for yourself, fabrics vary, size about 2.5 inches. Pocket Hugs are volunteer made and approved for a smile, nice thought and good mental health. 

Hopelink Mobile Food Market- 1st & 3rd Tuesdays

The Hopelink Mobile Food Market is free, open to all ages on the 1st/3rd Tuesday of every month, from 1-2pm.  You can drive through the parking lot and pick up free groceries, produce and seasonal items. To enroll in the Hopelink Food Program, please complete the online form or call any Hopelink Center for translation services or support. The Mobile Market will not distribute food on the following dates: Dec. 25th- Jan. 1st.

Community Food Pantry - 2nd & 4th Wednesdays

The Kenmore Senior Center Community Food Pantry happens on the 2nd/4th Wednesday of every month, from 12:30-2:30.  Free and open to all ages, no enrollment required.

Food Pantry Donations Accepted Year Round

Non-perishable foods are always welcome. Give us a call at 425.489.0707 to arrange a drop off time.

Picnic shelter rentals are available February through October in half-day and full-day increments at Rhododendron Park, Logboom Park, ƛ̕ax̌ʷadis (Tl' awh-ah-dees) Park, and Moorlands Park. The Rhododendron shelter has a large covered area with picnic tables, 2 BBQ grills, a water fountain/spigot, electrical outlet, and a well-maintained public restroom.  There are 2 playgrounds, one for toddlers and another for older children.  It’s a beautiful space to spend the day!

Picnic Shelters at Rhododendron, Log Boom, ƛ̕ax̌ʷadis (Tl' awh-ah-dees) and Moorlands Parks each offer one outdoor, covered shelter situated on a concrete pad with 3 to 4 picnic tables, and stationary BBQ grills. 

Picnic Shelters are available for rental use when not being used for City-sponsored activities. Reservations are accepted for the Shelter only. The rest of Rhododendron Park  and its amenities remains open to the general public during the reservation period. If a field reservation is desired please contact the City of Kenmore.

Payment will be required after reservation is approved. 

• Current picnic shelter rental fees as set by the annual Fee Schedule adopted by City Council: 
  • Kenmore Residents Half Day: $75
  • Kenmore Residents All Day: $150
  • Non-Kenmore Residents Half Day: $100
  • Non-Kenmore Residents All Day: $200
    
    
• Fees may be waived for applicants who are Kenmore residents whose household income is at or below 80 percent Area Median Income (AMI) as adjusted for family size. Eligibility will be determined by AMI percentage table provided by Regional Coalition for Housing (ARCH). It is only required that the applicant meet AMI requirements, not other attendees.
